Lolo Insect & Disease

The Lolo Insect & Disease project proposes forest management and watershed improvement activities within the Lolo Creek wateshed, located approximately 16 air miles northeast from Kamiah, Idaho. The Lochsa District proposes the following vegetation management actions to improve forest health, provide goods and services, and improve wildlife habitat: Regeneration harvest to restore white pine and other long-lived early seral species, soil rehabilitation, road improvements, road construction, road decommissioning, and meadow restoration.

The project area includes NFS lands within the 78,517-acre Lolo Creek drainage, approximately 16 air miles northeast of Kamiah, Idaho.
