The Davenport Mountain OHV Trail is 5.9 miles in length. The trails are suitable for motorcycles and ATVs. This trail loops around Davenport Mountain with some moderate grades, and offers views of Nottely Lake. This trail is approximately 12.0 miles west of Blairsville, GA. This trail has an easy section, which is recommended for young or inexperienced riders. There are also sections that are more difficult. Riders must stay on the OHV trail; cross-country riding or riding on the main road are not allowed. The trail crosses a road at two places. Watch for other vehicles on the road at these crossings. Davenport Mountain hours of operation are from sunrise to sunset. A fee is required to ride on this trail.

General Information
Directions: Beginning at the traffic light at the intersection of US 76/Highway 515 and US 19/129, go west on US 76/Highway 515 for 7.0 miles. Turn right onto GA 325 and go 2.3 miles to the STOP sign. Turn left, still on GA 325, and go 2.8 miles and turn right onto Davenport Mountain Road. At the foot of the hill, turn right onto Forest Service Road #143. Follow the gravel road 1.1 miles to the parking lot on your right. The OHV trail begins at the back end of the parking lot. General Notes: PLEASE NOTE! This area is closed from January 1 through March 31 for resource protection during the wet and freezing months of the year, when the most impact from use can occur.
