Motorized Travel Management

Motorized vehicle use maps (MVUM) are now available for the Plumas National Forest. The availability of these maps effectively implements the motorized travel management plan made last year by Forest Supervisor Alice Carlton. Storrie Fire Restoration Project

Storrie Fire Area

The project mission is to restore the forest structure, natural resources, and recreational/scenic values impacted in the Storrie Fire area. Both the Lassen and Plumas National Forests have embraced the challenge of restoring the forest area affected by the fire. A 10-year Restoration Plan for the fire area has been developed as a collaborative effort between the two forests and community partners.
