Forest Improvement Projects Now Underway

Workers install new fire rings and grills designed for accessibility at Cooper Creek Campground.

This summer and fall, the Forest Service will be working on over 30 projects aimed at maintenance and repairs on a wide range of facilities. Work includes bridge maintenance, replacing old water lines in campgrounds, and repaving parking areas and boat ramps. Unfortunately, some of this work will be an inconvenience for visitors. For example, a campground may be without water while water lines are replaced or your favorite trail head may not have as much parking during repaving. Get the rest of the details on all projects and their location.
