2018 - 2019 Hunting Licenses and DMAP Permits

Hunting licenses and Deer Management Assistance Program (DMAP) permits for the 2018-2019 hunting season go on sale Monday, June 18, 2018

How it Works:

Please see the PA Hunting and Trapping Digest for more information.

  • With a DMAP permit, hunting of antlerless deer may take place during all established deer seasons using the sporting arm allowed during that season.
  • The hunter must be properly licensed for the season; for example, archery or muzzleloading licenses are required during those seasons.
  • Antlerless deer may also be taken on DMAP units during the antlered-only firearms season – November 27-December 1 – by hunters with DMAP permits for the property on which they take their antlerless deer.
  • All DMAP antlerless deer permit holders are required to file a harvest report by February 5, 2019, regardless of whether they kill a deer.
