XC Skiing/Snowshoeing
If you are a back country skiier or snowshoer looking for open hillside, lots of powder, or maybe just miles of back country roads, the Forest can accommodate your needs. Although there are a few designated cross country ski trails, most visitors access the back country from plowed parking areas as well as county and state roads.
