Horse Riding

Horse Day Use Area at Bass Creek on the Stevensville Ranger District.While the majority of the trails on the Bitterroot National Forest are open to horse use and provide riding opportunities ranging from day trips to extended backcountry trips, the ones we have listed here are affiliated with stock facilities and either have hitch rails, stock ramps, feed bunks or a combination of these amenities.  

Please contact the Ranger District office associated with the recreation site if you need additional information regarding road and trail conditions.
