XC Skiing/Snowshoeing

Cross country skiing and snowshoeing are two winter activities that are enjoyed by people of all ages.  Many people find that forest roads present excellent ski and snowshoe routes - offering a wider track and moderate grades for the outdoor enthusiast to traverse easily.  For the more adventuresome individual, bushwacking in the general forest area will set you free to discover your own recreation experience.

When skiing or snowshoeing, be prepared for hazards and risks such as avalanches, changes in weather, wind chill and hypothermia.  Know your route and your ability level.  Enjoy your visit!
