In a scenic mountain setting, Lake Almanor is one of the largest man-made lakes in California at 75 square miles. It offers fishing, boating, water skiing, swimming, camping, and picnicking. The seven mile long South Shore Trail is ideal for bicycles or just a pleasant stroll. Eagle Lake is famed for its trophy trout.
