Viewing Wildlife
The more time you spend in the forest, the more likely it is that you'll spot wildlife, but pure luck comes into play as well. It is common to glimpse birds, deer, javalina, coyote, fox, and rabbits while whizzing down the highway--but getting a good look requires patience. Backpacking in the wilderness is, perhaps, the best way to see wildlife in a natural setting, but spending time in the forest camping, picnicking, hiking, horse riding, or participating in most any outdoor activity, will increase your chance of viewing wildlife. So grab your binoculars and camera, and come take a look!
