Skiing/Snowboarding

The White Mountain National Forest works in partnership with 9 permit holders to provide year round recreation opportunities for Forest visitors.  The WMNF annually hosts 1,000,000 skier visits on eight nordic and alpine ski areas.  These areas also provide non-winter recreation opportunities including scenic gondola rides, ziplines, ropes course, mountain biking, weddings, festivals, concerts, and endurance races.
