PUBLIC NOTICE REGARDING ATVs: All-terrain vehicles and off-highway vehicles are only allowed on two designated trails in Alabama’s national forests. The Kentuck ORV Trail in the Talladega National Forest -Talladega District and Flint Creek Multiple Use Trail in the Bankhead National Forest are open for ATV/OHV use. There are no designated ATV/OHV trails on the Conecuh National Forest, Talladega National Forest – Shoal Creek District, Talladega National Forest – Oakmulgee District, and Tuskegee National Forest. Registered and state licensed ATV/OHVs are permitted on all open Forest Service roads and not trails. Law enforcement officers will issue citations to illegal ATV/OHV riders.
