Feeding Wildlife is Prohibited

Feeding of wildlife on National Forest land is temporarily prohibited to prevent or slow the spread of Chronic Wasting Disease among white-tailed deer and mange among black bears. Feeding wildlife causes unnatural concentrations of animals and increases the spread of diseases. The prohibition includes the laying or placing any food, fruit, hay, grain, chemical, salt or other minerals. More at -Allegheny National Forest - News & Events (usda.gov)
