Fire Restrictions
Pursuant to I 6 USC 551 and 36 CFR 26 l.50(a) and (b ), and to provide for public safety and protect natural resources, the following acts are prohibited within the Angeles National Forest and the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument. This Order is effective from August 1, 2020 through February 1, 2021.
1. Building, maintaining, attending or using a fire, campfire, or stove fire. 36 CFR 26 l.52(a).
2. Smoking. 36 CFR 261.52(c).
3. Welding, or operating an acetylene or other torch with open flame. 36 CFR 261.52(i).
4. Discharing a firearm, air rifle, or gas gun, execpt in authorized public shooting ranges. 36 CFR 261.58(m)
