When one office is closed, please contact another forest office or visitor center for info/pass sales.

Acton Work Center (Acton, CA)
- No new updates.
Angeles National Forest Headquarters / Supervisor's Office (Arcadia, CA)
- Recreation passes are now available.
- We are seeking volunteers to assist with visitor information and/or public affairs assignments. Interested? Call (626) 698-8482.
Big Pines Visitor Center (Near Wrightwood, CA)
- Closed due to forest closure through Dec. 31, 2025.
Chilao Visitor Center (Approximately 27 miles north of La Cañada Flintridge, CA)
- Only open weekends and when staffing allows.
- Enter the visitor center from the back, as the front boardwalk needs repairs due to storm damage.
Los Angeles Gateway Ranger District (San Fernando, CA)
- No new updates.
Mt. Baldy Visitor Center (Mount Baldy Village, CA)
- This visitor center is temporarily closed until further notice due to the full forest closure through Jan. 31, 2025.
- When the full forest closure ends, this visitor center falls within the Bridge Fire closure area and is expected to be closed through Dec. 31, 2025.
San Gabriel Canyon Gateway Visitor Center (Azusa, CA)
- This visitor center is open when volunteers are available to staff it.
- To obtain a daily Adventure Pass for use in most areas of the Angeles National Forest, look for the back of an orange-colored machine in the drive-through lane farthest away from the main road. Pull in to use the machine for 24/7 service!
San Gabriel Mountains National Monument District Office (Glendora, CA)
- This office is closed on Fridays.
- Passes are only sold here on Mondays-Wednesdays, and Thursdays when someone is available.
- Always call ahead to see if passes are available for sale, even on a day when they are normally sold.
- We are seeking volunteers to assist with visitor information. Call (626) 335-1251 if interested.
