Smoke Advisory: Active prescribed fires

Angeles National Forest fire managers will be conducting prescribed burn projects near Oak Flat and Big Pines this week. These projects will reduce future risks of wildfires and benefit the forest.

- Big Pines: Smoke may be visible in Big Pines near Angeles Crest Highway and surrounding communities like Wrightwood.

- Oak Flat: Smoke may be visible from I-5 freeway near Castaic.
