Many major roads in the Angeles National Forest remain closed due to storms and related storm-damage.
The following roads are not managed by the U.S. Forest Service, so contact the following state or county organizations to learn more about the current status of roads in the forest / monument:
California Dept. of Transportation (Caltrans) manages and maintains:- State Route 39 (SR-39 or Hwy 39)
- State Route 2 (Angeles Crest Hwy)
- Etc.
LA County Dept. of Public Works manages and maintains:
- Big Pines Hwy
- Angeles Forest Hwy
- Mt. Baldy Rd
- Glendora Ridge Rd
- Glendora Mountain Rd
- Bouquet Canyon Rd
- Lake Hughes Rd
- Ridge Route Rd
- Etc.
San Bernardino County Dept. of Public Works manages and maintains:
- Mt. Baldy Rd
