  • Blowdown Affected Trails (Updated 09/25/2018)

There is still one trail in the Medicine Wheel Ranger District near Paint Rock Lakes that is not passable due to the wind event that occurred in June.  Here is a list of the trails and their conditions.

    • FST #116 – Kinky White Trail.  It is impassable for approximately one and a half miles due to the extreme amount of trees blown down across the trail.
    • FST #354 and #059 are now cleared and passable.

FST #116 will likely be impassable until late summer of 2019.  The Forest is pursuing partnerships and supplemental funding to accomplish clearing the trails and making them passable.

    See attached map for locations.
