  • Prescribed Burn Plans

    Prescribed burning is set to begin on the Cleveland from late November through May 2019 as conditions and weather permits. Tentative burns will be posted here as they occur. All burns are subject to change or cancellation based on weather conditions. The following are set to take place December 17 through December 23:

     

    Descanso 

    • No current burn plans

    Palomar

    • No current burn plans

    Trabuco

    • Burn plans 12/17 Mystic Oaks (Long Canyon and Ortega Hwy). 12/18 a 10-acre prescribed burn south of the Ortega Hwy on the west side of Decker Canyon Rd and a 1-acre heritage burn on Ortega Hwy and Junco Meadows. Both will be in support of community defense. Ortega Hwy and the area of El Cariso Village are likely to experience smoke impacts.
