This purpose of this Order is to protect public’s health and safety from unsafe conditions resulting from the Miller Fire in Red Rock Secret Mountain Wilderness. Several public trails run throughout the wildfire operational area. An area closure and closure of key trails accessing the area are necessary to provide for public safety. The order will be effective on May 25, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., and shall remain in effect until September 30, 2023, or until rescinded, whichever occurs first.
