Houston Valley Now Scan & Pay

Houston Valley OHV system no longer has a fee tube. Daily users must use the Scan & Pay option.
- 1-Day Scan and Pay Activitiy Pass ($5 per operator): Before leaving cell phone service, download the Recreation.gov app on your mobile device. Once you are at Houston Valley, you will need to open the Recreation.gov app. Once the app is open you will need to press the scan function within the app. This will open the scanning function on your phone's camera. Point your camera at the QR code at Houston Valley. You will then be able to purchase a pass. You will need to repeat this process for each operator, or each operator can do it on their own device. As long as you have the Recreation.gov app, you will not need cell phone service to purchase a pass. Passess will show "Pending" until service is reached.
