The Forest welcomes your comments on the Hyalite Drainage Recreational Target Shooting Permanent Closure order. This proposal brings forward a permanent closure to the existing emergency closure to recreational target shooting consistent with the process laid out in Section 4103 of the John D. Dingell, Jr., Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act. The proposal does not limit legal hunting options or impact the right to carry a firearm
