Kirk Hill Area Closure Order Number: # 01-11-06-25-04

The purpose of this Order is to close the identified area for public safety. This closure is necessary as part of the Bozeman Municipal Watershed Project (BMWP) Timber Sale Contract for fuel reduction work in the municipal watershed for the City of Bozeman residents. Due to active tree felling and skyline yarding use over and adjacent to trails in a high use recreation area, it is necessary to close the identified area to provide for public safety and prevent disruption of authorized timber operations.
