Risks of using unauthorized transport
El Yunque National Forest's recreational corridor and El Portal visitor center are not pick-up points for rideshare mobile apps. Users can mark both locations when requesting service, but the app does not allow visitors to be picked up at these points. -

* El Yunque Peak Trail is open to Los Picachos but still remains closed between Los Picachos spur trail and El Yunque Peak for safety reasons.

A section of El Yunque trail remains closed due to damage to a retaining wall that represents a health and safety risk for visitors.
