SECTION OF FOREST SERVICE RD 364 CLOSED FOR PUBLIC SAFETY (ON APALACHICOLA NF)
The Apalachicola National Forest has officially closed FSR 364 (at the 1.7 mile post) traveling from the FSR 319 intersection (See map for location details). This temporary closure was determined necessary for public safety due and will remain in effect indefinitely, pending critical structural inspection and repairs to the failed culvert on that road segment.
SAFETY NOTE: Physical barriers are in place and the hazardous area is marked with bright safety tape (see photos 1 and 2). Road closure signs will be installed soon to further inform public not to approach the closed section, for their own safety and legal accountability. It is a dead-end road and not required for local transit. Thanks for your support and please drive safely on our forests and beyond.
