Fire Restrictions

Closure

There are no Public Use Fire Restrictions in effect at this time.

Campfires are now allowed outside of designated, developed campgrounds across the national forest but public members are encouraged to use existing fire rings for campfires wherever possible, and to always bring a shovel and extra water to ensure the fire is out and cold to the touch when you leave. If it’s too hot to touch, it’s too hot to leave. Visit https://www.smokeybear.com/ for safety tips.
