The Gila National Forest has extended Closure Order 03-06-04-22-008 (Whitewater Trail #207.1 Segment Temporary Health and Safety Closure) effective December 2, 2022, at 6:00 a.m. through May 25, 2023, at 6:00 a.m., unless rescinded. The purpose is to protect public safety from potential hazards related to an unstable geologic formation, in addition to the rock scaling and geohazard mitigation work occurring in the Described Area/Trails.
