Multiple Forest roads in Rockingham County, VA and Pendleton County, WV are temporarily closed. Closures include: Rocky Run ATV trail, Second Mountain Road (Forest Road #502), Long Run Road (Forest Road #72) and Vepco Road (Forest Road #240). National Forest system roads and trails will continue to be intermittently closed over the next several months as the 500 kilovolt electricity transmission line running through Rockingham County, Va and Pendleton County, WV. is being rebuilt.
Signs and barrels have been installed at specific locations to prevent vehicular, ATV, and pedestrian traffic from entering the project area. Please adhere to these notices as you navigate the Forest.
