Re-route of Trail H7/966 from March to August 2022

The Huron-Manistee National Forest Huron Shores Ranger District will coordinate updates to H7/966 trail in Alcona County. The proposed project timeline is March 3 through August 1, 2022.

These updates are critical to the on-going trail maintenance and safety of trail users. The re-route should minimally impact use of Off High Vehicle (OHV)/ Trail H7 - Alcona ORV trail, and Over Snow Vehicles (OSV)/ Trail 966. Additionally, the HMNF Recreation sites to note in that area include the Ann Arbor Trailhead and Stout Rd Trailhead.
