• Carson RD Pile Burning

  The Carson Ranger District, with the help of Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District, will be pile burning this week in the Mt. Rose Fuels Reduction Project area north of the Nevada Department of Transportation sand shed off of the Mount Rose Highway, south of of Reno, Nevada.

  Fire crews will also continue to burn piles this week in the Genoa Fuels Reduction Project area just west of Genoa, Nevada, and along Nevada State Route 207.
