Closure Order 01-01-03-23-12 on both the Kootenai National Forest (Fortine Ranger District) and Flathead National Forest (Tally Lake Ranger District) will be terminated at 1201 am Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. The roads in the vicinity of the East Fork Fire on the Fortine Ranger District (Kootenai National Forest) and Tally Lake Ranger District (Flathead National Forest) will be open.
If traveling through the fire area, please stay on designated roads, be cautious of fire weakened trees and avoid areas with any fire activity. Crews are still working in the area so please be aware for any fire traffic.
