Tubb Gulch Road Closures

Closure Order 01-14-05-23-16 is now in effect on the Libby Ranger District for roads in the vicinity of Tubb Gulch area. The purpose of the closure is for resource protection as the area was experiencing excessive damage.

The National Forest System Roads included in the order are as follows: #1018-Tubs Gulch, #4752-Mitchell Creek, #4752A-Mitchell Creek A, #4755-Lower Rainy, #5033-Mitchell Creek Powerline, #5033A-Mitchell Creek Powerline A, #5082-Tub Gulch Unit, #5342-Lower Rainey Gravel Pits, 5197-Tub Gulch unit, #5344-Lower Rainy North Face1, #5346-Lower Rainy North Face2, #5348-Lower Rainy North Face 3, and National Forest System Road #5083-Tub Gulch Ridge. These roads are located north of HWY 37, northeast of Libby, MT and southwest of the Vermiculite Mine.
