Pacific Southwest Region Storm Damage for 2023

Between Dec. 26, 2022, and Jan. 16, 2023, California experienced nine atmospheric river events which produced widespread damaging rain/wind and heavy snow in the mountains. These storms have caused moderate to severe levels of flooding, mudslides, and infrastructure damage to National Forest lands across the state.
