Sandstone Fire closure on Clackamas River RD

Sandstone Fire ignited from a lightning strike on August 5 and is currently about 85% contained. The fire is located on the south side of Thunder Mountain several miles north of Forest Road 70 on the Clackamas River Ranger District. It is being managed by local fire staff.
There is a forest closure area in effect:
Forest Road 70 & Bagby Hot Springs are back open.
