3-hour delays on Pierce-Superior Road 250 between Bungalow Ranger Sta. & Kelly Forks Work Center
Up to 3-hour weekday delays on National Forest System Road 250 (Pierce-Superior) are beginning on September 4 for rock crushing and road reconstruction projects between the Bungalow Ranger Station Historic Site and the Kelly Forks Work Center.

Closure of Tom Beal (#7) and Wind Lakes (#24) Trails due to wildfire activity in the area.

White Pine Fire Road and Trail Closure - Palouse Ranger District
Closure of NFSR 377 (Palouse Divide Road), NFSR 768, NFSR 1443 and NFST 22 (Giant White Pine Trail), NFST 228, and NFST 26.

This expanded closure includes the entirety of the Selway River Road--excluding private inholdings--Coolwater Road, and trails including western portions of the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness

NFS Road 358 – Kooskooskia Meadows Road from the junction with NFSR 360, Elk Summit Road, (T35N, R15E, NENE Sec 18) to its terminus (T35N, R14E, NWNW Sec 14).

Road Closure for: NFSR 107 – Saddle Camp Road, from the junction with NFSR 500 in T37N, R11E, Sec 29 to the end of the road in T37N, R11E., Sec 5. NFSR 587 – Marten Hill Road, from the junction with the NFSR 500 in T37N, R11E, Sec 29 to its terminus in T37N., R11E, Sec 6

NFSR 246 Road Closure
NFSR #246 – National Forest Service Road (NFSR) 246 is to be closed from its junction (JCT) with NFSR #682 at mile post 47.78 to its JCT with NFSR #247 at mile post 52.08. The road closure location is shown in Exhibit A

Slide impacting travel on 250 road in North Fork; Road work Begins June 23'd
A slide at Black Canyon is currently impacting travel on the North Fork of the Clearwater, located 2.7 miles downstream from hidden creek. Only high clearance vehicles will be able to travel through the slide. For all other vehicles use the 255 road as a detour to bypass the slide.

Laird Park Water Unavailable For 2025 Season
Forest Service staff have labored diligently to ensure potable water is available for campers at Laird Park this season. Unfortunately, water system tests have come back negatively and the water is not up to our safety standards.

Timber Sale Beginning Near Musselshell Meadows: Expect Travel Delays and Road Closures
In late May/Early June, the Thin Mussel Timber Sale will begin. For Forest visitors traveling to the area, road reconstruction, and log hauling will occur on the 505, 505b, 505C, 5049, 5150, 5150-A, 5150-B, 5150-C, 5150-d, 73031, and 73032 Roads.
