Pisgah Ranger District- Catheys Creek Road Closure

A portion of Catheys Creek Road (Forest Service Rd. 471) on the Pisgah Ranger District will be closed for construction starting Aug.1, 2024, tentatively through mid January to improve two stream crossings.
The closed section will begin 5 miles from Highway 64 and end at Charles Creek (Forest Service Rd. 471C). Construction activities will be at the intersection of Forest Service Rd. 471D and Catheys Creek Road, so please plan to use alternative routes to access the Butter Gap area.
