  • Bridge to Wildcat Campground now has 5 ton load limit

August 2018 bridge inspections revealed deterioration of the bridge accessing Wildcat Campground in the Ochoco National Forest. Due to the safety hazard posed by decaying timbers in the bridge structure, a load limit of 5 tons is now posted for the bridge. The affected road is FSR 3300-300. Hunters and other campground users could also be impacted if the combined weight of recreational and tow vehicles exceed the 5 ton limit. The campground will remain open while the Forest Service implements safe alternatives to access the campground for maintenance and operational needs.
