Forest Service Road 29 partial closure

Sections of Forest Service Road 29 between mile marker 23.8-24 and 33.8-33.9 are closed due to a failed culverts.

These sections of road are extremly dangerous as even a light vehicle passing over these sections could cause a catostrophic collapse of the remaining road.

Motorists accessing FSR 29 should use detours or alternate roads to reach their destination.

The Sikum Gorge bridge is overdue for a vehicle inspection and is closed to traffic until it can be inspected.

The inspection vehicle required for the inspection cannot reach the bridge until other road repairs are completed.
