  • Order 2018-15 Occupancy and Use Crags

    Pursuant to 16 United States Code (U.S.C.) § 551 and 36 Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) § 261.50(a), the following acts are prohibited on National Forest System lands within the portion of the Pikes Peak Ranger District, Pike National Forest, Teller County, State of Colorado as described below and hereinafter referred to as the Restricted Area. The Restricted Area is depicted on the attached map, hereby incorporated into this Order as Exhibit A. The purpose of this Order is for protection of public health and safety during processing and removal of hazard trees in the area.
    The Restricted Area is described as beginning at the National Forest (NFS) boundary just east of Colorado Highway 67, and continuing east within ¼ mile of the centerline of NFSR 383, to the end of NFSR 383. The Restricted Area also includes ¼ mile of the centerline of NFSR 383.A, also known as the Crags Campground. All as shown on the attached Exhibit A.
