The RRSNF is experiencing a dramatic increase of black bear-human interactions, where black bears are coming into camps seeking out food and waste. Problem areas include the Applegate Valley and Lower Rogue River, but habituated bears have been reported across the RRSNF.
Do your part to keep bears and people safe by ALWAYS properly storing all wildlife attractants.REMEMBER: A fed bear is a dead bear.
