Stairs leading to the valley floor have been removed and Rim Rock Trail is now OPEN as of Oct. 19, 2022. With the stairs removed there is no access from the upper loop trail to the valley floor. Reconstruction will happen at a later date.
Visitors wishing to reach Ox-lot Cave will need to leave east from the Rim Rock Parking Lot and hike the lower trail below Rim Rock. Download the Rim Rock Brochure for driving directions and a map.
