Seasonal Road Closures Across Gasquet Ranger District

Gasquet, CA, October 28, 2024— To reduce the risk of Port-Orford-Cedar (POC) disease spreading into uninfected areas the Gasquet Ranger District will temporarily close several roads across the district beginning Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
Roads will remain closed throughout the upcoming rainy season to prevent the spread of POC disease. The following roads will be temporarily closed:
18N17 - Monumental/ Monkey Ridge
18N07 - Knopki (2 locations enroute to Sanger Lake)
18N08F - Wounded Knee
16N03 - Fox Ridge
16N02 - Ship Mountain (South)
15N01 - G.O. Road
14N01 - Red Mountain
16N03K - Upper Jones Creek
