03-12-06-24-27 Tonto Creek Crossing Road Closures

Effective June 16, 2024, at 8:00 a.m., through June 15, 2034, Closure Order 03-12-06-24-27 Tonto Creek Crossing Road Closures prohibits using any motor vehicle on:

1. NFS Road 71 (commonly referred to as Greenback Road), starting at the Non-Forest Service Ownership boundary at Reference Point 33° 52.245' N x -111 ° 18.598' W, then following southeast along NFS Road 71 for approximately 0.25 miles to the intersection with NFS Road 1396.
2. NFS Road 60 (commonly referred to as A Cross Road), starting at the intersection with State Route (SR), then following northeast along NFS Road 60 for approximately 0.75 miles to the junction with the Non-Forest Service Ownership boundary at Reference Point 33° 47.562' N x -111 ° 15.~80' W.

The segments of the Described Roads are within Township 5 North Range 11 East Sections 7 and 8 and Township 6 North Range 10 East Sections 11 and 14. 

Purpose

The purpose of this Order is to protect public, employee, and cooperator he.alth and safety due to unsafe road conditions affected by recent decommissioning of the roads through the Tonto Creek Bridge Construction.

This Order supersedes any previous Orders prohibit,ing the same or similar act on the same Described Roads.
