Panjab Trail #3127 bridge temporarily removed
Area(s): Panjab Trailhead
Date(s): Nov 18, 2022
Trail Alert – Forest Service Officials have temporarily removed the Panjab Trail #3127 bridge to proactively mitigate potential post-fire debris flows that could damage the bridge this winter or next spring. The area experienced a runoff event in the spring of 2022, which created debris slides down Panjab Creek. Following that event, Forest staff temporarily closed the Panjab Trail to stock animals. The trail is currently open but access is not available from the Panjab Trailhead. Access to the Panjab trail is available via the Rattlesnake Trail #3129, Packers Trail #3129, and the Mt. Misery Trail #3113.
