  • Visiting the Forest for the Eclipse? Know Before You Go

    On August 21, 2017, a total solar eclipse will pass through the State of Oregon and the Willamette National Forest. Thousands, if not millions, of visitors will be coming to the Willamette Valley and to the Willamette National Forest. We ask that you join us in planning ahead and thinking about the impacts to your activities, travel and safety.

    • Fire conditions, closures, and regulations may be in place. For current fire restrictions, click here.
    • Campgrounds available by reservation are already booked for the nights leading up to the eclipse.
