Here is the snow levels report as of Jan. 10, 2025! The snowpack is currently heavy-packed with a crusty top layer. Always check weather and road conditions before heading out and be prepared for winter travel. Visitors should watch for sub-surface hazards. Call your local ranger station for the most up-to-date conditions or visit www.tripcheck.com:

Santiam Pass:

  • ​Tombstone Summit: 24-30 inches.
  • Lava Lake: 24-30 inches.
  • Big Springs: 24-30 inches.
  • Maxwell Butte: 24-30 inches.
  • Ray Benson: 52-56 inches.
  • Santiam Pass: 58-62 inches.
  • Potato Hill: 28-32 inches.
  • Little Nash: 18-22 inches.
  • Ikenick: 0-4 inches.

Willamette Pass:

  • Gold Lake Road: 32-34 inches.
  • Salt Creek Falls: 8-12 inches.
  • Waldo Lake Road: 18-20 inches.
