Here is the snow levels report as of Jan. 31, 2025! A winter storm warning is in effect through Saturday, Feb. 1 with heavy snow and high winds that could lead to white out conditions in the Santiam Pass. New snow accumulation is anticipated on Friday night into Saturday day. The snowpack is currently described as a hard packed base with a firm and fast surface.Visitors should watch for sub-surface hazards. Santiam Pass:

  • Tombstone Summit: 18-24 inches.
  • Lava Lake: 18-20 inches.
  • Big Springs: 18-24 inches.
  • Maxwell Butte: 18-24 inches.
  • Ray Benson: 48-52 inches.
  • Santiam Pass: 56-60 inches.
  • Potato Hill: 24-28 inches.
  • Little Nash: 16-20 inches.
  • Ikenick: 0-4 inches.

Willamette Pass:

  • Gold Lake Road: 30 inches.
  • Salt Creek Falls: 10 inches.
  • Waldo Lake Road: 20 inches.
