Responding to a Modification

If a modification has been issued for your agreement, you will receive an e-mail notification and the modification will be called out in the Alert box on the Home page.

To respond to a modification:

  1. From the Home page, click on the My Agreements tab.

The agreement will have a second, indented row for the modification, which will indicate the type of modification and is where you will respond to the modification.

  1. In the Action column of the Agreements table, click on the Start icon (Submit a response to a modification.). The Agreement Modification Response wizard appears.
IMPORTANT
For modifications that are "Awaiting Vendor Acknowledgement," no action is required by you. The modification is already signed by the Contracting Officer; however, you can acknowledge the modification if you wish to do so.

Depending on the type of modification, the steps in the Agreement Modification Response wizard will vary. More detailed information is provided for each type of modification (see "Modifying Agreements" for a list of the modification types).
