Not Sure where to Start on Submitting a Request?
Please be as specific as you can, include the area/district of the forests (we have 4 districts - Baldwin, Cadillac, Mio, Oscoda), when you are traveling -describe your question in detail - offer a timeline if possible, if a group question let us know how many in your group, etc. so our Recreation Team can help you.
If you have boundary, easement or any land related questions, please offer an address/ GPS coordinates, road names, describe your need/topic so our Lands Team can help you.
If you are inquiring about having an event on HMNF land, please give us your phone number and offer as much information about your event possible so our Special Uses Team can help you.
We have various printed materials available at our offices, and can be mailed to you, if you are requesting materials to be mailed, please provide your full name and mailing address. You can also request these by calling any of our offices during normal working hours.
