mogollon rimThe Forest Service is planning the 2nd landscape-scale, multi-forest project within the 4FRI footprint. The Rim Country Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) analyzes portions of the Coconino, Apache-Sitgreaves, and Tonto National Forests. Planning documents will be posted to this page as they are created, newest on top.

Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS)

  • Comment Period is October 19, 2019 through January 16, 2020 -- The EPA published the Notice of Availability (NOA) for the DEIS in the Federal Register, initiating the 90-day public comment period.
  • SUBMIT YOUR COMMENTS, INCLUDING ATTACHMENTS, ONLINE​.  Comments can also be submitted by email, mail, fax, or in person, and information about how to do so can be found in the Cover Letter and Reader's Guide.

The Rim Country Proposed Action is posted here for your review and comments. The scoping period will run for 45 days from the date the Notice of Intent was published in the Federal Register, June 27, 2016. Comments will be most helpful if received by August 11th.
