Revised Land and Resource Management Plan

The Revised Land and Resource Management Plan (Forest Plan) for National Forests in Alabama was released in January 2004. Forest Plans undergo significant amendments or major revisions in compliance with the National Forest Management Act at least every 10 years. Plans can also be amended or revised at any time to respond to changed resource conditions, social issues and values, economic climates, or if monitoring reveals that the Plans are no longer appropriate in some way.
